كان يا مكان كان في رجل فقير كان عنده طاحونه وفي يوم جاء رجل وقال له اطعمني واترك لي فراشك لانام عليه ولا تندم لو خسرت ذيل حمارك وكان الرجل يفكر في الكلام الذي سمعه من الرجل الاعمه.سوال بعد ان سمعتم هذه القصه الصغيره ماذا كتن الرجل فقير ام غني وفي الصباح بحث الطحان عن الرجل ولم يجده فقال لنفسه بات ورحل لايهم لو كان يريد البقاء ليبقي وبدا الطحان عمله ثم ذهب ليطعم حماره فاذهله ماراه وجد الطحان حماره بدون ذيل فقال بانزعاج يا خبر كان الحمار له ذيل بالليل اخذ الرجل العجوز ذيل حماري فهل هذا جزاء المعروف اطعمه من طعامي واترك له فراشي فياخذ ذيل حماري ياخسارتي يا خساربي وتمر الايام وكان الطحان كلما نظر الي الحمار ووجده بدون ذيل حزن وقال لنفسه اهذا جذاء المعروف وفي اليله من ليالي وكان الطحان يسير با لقرب من قصر مهجور وتعب من السير فخلس وبعد قليل ظهر به رجل غريب الشكل لا يعرف من اين جاء وقال له اطلب طلبا مني يريحك طول العام انفذه لك واطلب منك طلبا تنفذه لي ولا يحق لك رفضه مارايك صمت الطحان......................................................................................................................................
