يتناول هذا المجموع نصوص شعرية لأربعة من شعراء الاندلس المعروفين وهم: - أبو جعفر بن الأبّار المتوفى سنة 433 هـ. - أبو عامر بن مسلمة المتوفى سنة 451هـ. - أبو بكر بن القوطية الحفيد (من اعيان القرن الخامس الهجري). - أبن ليون التُجيبي المتوفى سنة 750هـ. ومجموع الدواوين يقوم على جمع شعر الشعراء المذكورين ودراسته وبيان اغراضه الشعرية. مع صنع ديوان لكل منهم مرتبة اشعاره على الحروف الهجائية لقوافي قصائدهم. وقد نشرت شعر هؤلاء الشعراء في مجلة المورد في اعداد متفرقة من سنوات عمرها المديد. وقد حاولت في هذه الطبعة الجديدة اضافة عدد من المصادر الحديثة، والاعتماد على طبعتين اخريين من كتاب البديع في وصف الربيع – وهو الكتاب الرئيسي المتضمن شعر الشعراء الثلاثة الأُول. لذا جاء مجموع الدواوين اضافة جديدة للشعر الاندلسي خدمة للتراث العربي وللمكتبة الاندلسية.
