يروي هذا الكتاب تجربة شخصية عايشتها المؤلفة.. وتقول لأن المطلقة لدي الناس هي تلك المسكينة، المغلوب علي أمرها، أو لأنها تلك الشريرة التي لاقت جزاءها.. كتبت تلك الكلمات ولستُ خبيرة ولستُ باحثة اجتماعية ولا نفسية ولا شرعية.. لكنني عشتها.. عشتها بتفاصيلها بخيرها وبقسوتها.. بعتمتها ونورها.. ورأيت وسمعت الكثير من حالاتها.. فعلمت أمراً.. أنه مهما تفاوتت الظروف.. فإنها تظل إنسانة ومن حقها أن تسعد وتبدأ من جديد وأن تستمر بالحلم.. فسخر لي الله سبحانه وتعالي كل من حولي حتي الأطفال منهم.. كلمات صاغها الله علي ألسنتهم فكانت كل كلمة وابتسامة وكل دمعة هي رسالة خاصة لي.. فانقلب الحال من الشعور بالحزن إلي السعادة.. حتي أصبحت أشكر الله علي اختياره لي سبحانه وتعالي. وتذكرت أنه وهبني قلماً لأسطر لحبيباتي وأخواتي – ممن يمرون بما مررت به – أيام عشتها وليالي سهرتها.. وأعترف أن أياً من الكلمات القادمة لم تخرج مني – لكنها خرجت من أفواه مخلصة لا أملك لها الجزاء، فالله هو الكريم والقادر علي أن يأجرهم.
