لغة القصيدة سلسة لا تعقيد فيها. تكثر فيها المحسّنات البديعية من استعارات وتشبيهات وتجسيد. لغة المباشرة واضحة في القصيدة. نلحظ بأنّ الشّاعر لم يستغلّ مقولة – يحقّ للشّاعر ما لا يحقّ لغيره- إِلا في بعض الكلمات الّتي استبدلها بالعاميّة، نحو: ستّ المدائن، بدل سيّدة المدائن. أساميها، بدل أَسماءَها. العنوان: " آخر صورة لمولاتي" أَرى أنّ اختيار الشّاعر عنوان ديوانه، وعنوان القصيدة كان موفّقًا يوحي بعظمة مدينة القدس الّتي هي بمثابة المولاة للجميع.
