السيد محمد تقي الحجار من مواليد 1960 العراق - النجف الأشرف اكمل دراسته الاكاديمية وتخرج من معهد الادارة في الكوفة ، وبعدها التحق بالحوزة العلمية في النجف الأشرف - جامعة النجف الدينية التي احتضنته باحتضان عميدها ومؤسسها آية الله السيد محمد كلانتر (قده) ، فأمل فيها المقدمات والسطوح ثم السطوح العالية على يد استاذه المزبور آية الله السيد كلانتر وحصل على اجازته (قده) في الرواية واخرى في التدريس .
ثم حضر درس البحث الخارج عند مجموعة من المراجع والعلماء منهم : المرجع آية الله السيد محمد الصدر (قده) والمرجع آية الله السيد محمد سعيد الحكيم (دام ظله) والمرجع آية الله الشيخ الفياض (دام ظله) وآية الله السيد محمد باقر الحكيم واخيرا استقر به المطاف عند آية الله السيد علي السبزواري (دام ظله) .
مؤلفته: 1- مع المقدس السبزواري في قبسات من مواهبه ، وهو شرح لبعض المباحث العرفانية والفلسفية التي وردت في تفسير( مواهب الرحمن في تفسير القرآن) للعارف الكامل المرجع الديني آية الله السيد عبد الاعلى السبزواري (قده).
2- تجليات من سماء الغيبة ، وهو شرح لدعاء ( اللهم ارزقنا توفيق الطاعة وبعد المعصية ) وهو دعاء مأثور عن صاحب العصر والزمان (عج) 3- كراس في (احكام الدماء الثلاثة) الحيض والاستحاضة والننفاس.
رسالة في الوسوسة .
وهناك بعض الكتابات المخطوطة منها والقيد التأليف نشير لها في حينها ان شاء الله تعالى.
