كما يبين كيف تعيش الحيوانات في الأجزاء المختلفة من العالم، حيث تنام أنواع منها خلال النهار، وتخرج في الليل للبحث عن الطعام، وكيف تحوم حول فريستها وتقتلها، وكيف يختار البعض الشريك المناسب.
كما يحكي عن طريقة تعليم الدببة القطبية صغارها اصطياد السمك، وكيف يحافظ الجمل على حياته في الصحراء دون ماء. كما يجيب على أسئلة مثل: كم من الوقت يبقى فرس النهر تحت الماء؟ إلى أي مدى يمكن أن تصل سرعة الفهد؟ وكيف يجد الخفاش طريقه في الظلام؟
وفي الصفحات الأخيرة سيبين مصور العالم التوزع الجغرافي للحيوانات ويبين أمكنة عيشها، كما سيعطيك الجدول البياني الخاص أكثر من 300 واقعة سهلة ميسرة حول حياة الحيوانات وعاداتها.
