"حديقة الورد قد طابت لجانيها ورقّ بالطبع قاصيها ودانيها، فاقطف ثمار المعاني من لطائفها وارشف شهيّ الحميّا من قنانيها، يا حسن فكرة من أبدت لنا درراً ونظمت خير عقد من دراريها، لا تعجبن صاح إن جاءت مجيدته بكل معنى بديع من معانيها، فإنها فرع ناصيف الذي اشتهرت لطفاً مقاماته وارتاح حاكيها، حكت أبها بآداب فيما ظلمت جاءت على أصلها الباهي قوافيها، دامت تطرّز أثواب القريض لنا ما قام يُطربُ بالأشعار راويها".
من تراث الشاعرة "وردة اليازجي" تمّ اقتطاف هذه المنظومات الشعرية والتي جاء بعضها جواب على رسائل وردت للشاعرة وبعضها الآخر حمل آلام الرثاء، ومشاعر الحب، والمديح، والترحيب...
