كلمة كلمة "سلسلة تتكون في ستة كتيبات صغيرة الحجم وسهلة الاستعمال، وهي بشكل عام تحتوي على جمل بسيطة جداً مخصصة لتعليم الطفل في مرحلة ما قبل المدرسة أسس استعمال بعض الكلمات السهلة وذات الاستعمال اليومي بالنسبة للأطفال ككلمة أحمر، مشغول، صباح الخير، ماما،... وهذه الكتب تتدرج بصعوبتها وبعدد الكلمات التعليمية التي تقدمها للطفل في هذه المرحلة. ورغم أهمية النص، إلا أن رسومات هذه المجموعة تعتبر العنصر الأساسي لإيصال فكرة الكلمة، فهي تحث الطفل على الإدراك البصري الذي يؤهله للتعرّف على الكلمة المكتوبة، فيتفاعل مع الصورة ويحاول التنبؤ بما قد تحتويه من معان، وكل ذلك يشجعه على التفكير والحوار والنقاش.
