تخرج في جامعة بيروت العربية - قسم اللغة العربية وآدابها.
عمل بالتدريس في المرحلة الثانوية في صيدا وبيروت, ومايزال، كما عمل في الصحافة الثقافية، ويعمل حاليا مدير تحرير لمجلة شهرية منوعة تصدر عن مؤسسة عرين غرافيكس.
له مساهمات عديدة في صحف ومجلات تصدر في لبنان والخارج.

حدثَ شجارٌ أثناءَ اللَّعِبِ بيني وبين محمود، أَحَبِّ أصدقائي وأقربِهم إليّ، وَلَم يلبث هذا الشِّجارُ أن تحوَّلَ إلى تماسُكٍ بالأيدي، دَفَعني خلالَهُ محمود دَفعةً قويَّةً إلى الوراءِ، فسقطتُ على الأرضِ؛ نهضتُ غاضباً، وأمسكتُ بِمحمود، وطوَّقتُهُ بِذراعي، ورميتُهُ أرضاً مِثْلَما رَماني؛ تدخَّلَ فريقٌ من أصْحابِنا، وأبعدوا واحِدَنا عنِ الآخرِ، وخلالَ هذا العِراكِ، تبادَلْنا، أنا ومحمود كلاماً قاسياً بلغَ حدَّ الشَتائِمِ. بعدَ هذه الحادثةِ، لم يَعُدْ محمود يُكلِّمُني، ولم أعُدْ أكلِّمُهُ... سعى بعضُ الأصدقاءِ في الصُّلحِ، فاشترطتُ لِمُصالحَتِهِ أنْ يعتذِرَ منّي، وكانَ ردُّهُ على ذلكَ أنِّني أنا الّذي يَنْبغي أنْ أعتذِرَ منهُ؛ وتمسَّكَ كلٌّ منّا بِموقفِهِ بِصلابةٍ وعِنادٍ... هل سيصر الإثنين على موقفهما أو سيجدا طريقة ليتصالحا؟!...
