ولد في دمشق عام 1934.
تلقى تعليمه في دمشق. عمل خبازاً وعاملاً في مصنع للنسيج وصحفياً ومحرراً أدبياً،
كما عمل في المكتب الصحفي في القصر الجمهوري(1960-1961)، وفي مجلة المعرفة سكرتير تحرير(1961-1965)،
وفي مجلة الأحد اللبنانية رئيساً للقسم الثقافي وفي الصحافة العربية في لندن. ثم انتقل إلى بيروت.
عضو جمعية القصة والرواية.
مؤلفاته:
1-الحزن في كل مكان- قصص- ط1- دمشق 1960- ط2- بيروت 1982.
2-جراح- رسائل حب بوح ولد في دمشق عام 1934.
