نشرت هذه الدراسات على بعض المواقع الاليكترونية، كما ألقيتها في محاضرات وندوات بين الأعوام 2010-2012. وقد أثارت جدلًا كبيرًا ما بين مؤيد ومعارض، بحيث إن بعضًا منها، برغم أنه قد مس مناطق محرمة أو كانت على الأقل محرمة قبل زمن قصير، قد لاقى استحسان الكثيرين، كما أن بعضها الآخر قد جلب علي نقمة الكثيرين، بل وتهديدهم أيضًا، وبرغم أن هذه الدراسات تعالج موضوعات متفرقة، فإن هناك فكرة واحدة تجمعها في النهاية، وهي نقد ثقافة الماضي تمهيدًا لصناعة ثقافة المستقبل الإنسانية التي يتجه إليها العالم في عصر العولمة، فمما لا شك فيه أن عولمة الاقتصاد وتطور وسائل الاتصالات، سوف يؤديان بالضرورة، إن عاجلًا وإن آجلًا- إلى عولمة الثقافة أيضًا؛ ومصر لن تصبح أبدًا جزءًا من هذا العالم الكبير سريع التطور، دون أن تحقق الثورة الثقافية أولًا، وتنتقل من ثقافة الماضي إلى ثقافة الحاضر والمستقبل، ولذلك فكرت في أن أجمع هذه الدراسات في كتاب لعلها تشكل مساهمة في الحوار العنيف الدائر الآن حول تحديد الطريق إلى المستقبل، ولقد اخترت لها عنوان (مصر بين الأصولية والعلمانية.. الصدام القادم) وهو عنوان الدراسة التاسعة من هذه الدراسات، لسبب موضوعي للغاية، هو أن هذا العنوان يعبر عن المحتوى العام لباقي الدراسات المنشورة، كما أنه يعبر عن موضوع الساعة الملح، وعن اللحظة التاريخية الحرجة التي تمر بها مصر من أجل اختيار طريق المستقبل، وهو الاختيار الذي ستجني ثماره الأجيال القادمة من تقدم ورخاء ولحاق بركب الحضارة، أو تدفع ثمنه غاليًا من فقر وشقاء وتخلف؟ أرجو أن تثير هذه الدراسات فكر القارئ، وأحلم.
