يعيش كثير من صلحاء الناس حياته، لا يفيض من صلاحه إلا على أهله ومن يحيط به من الأصدقاء. ومن الناس ناس نشرون الدعوة في الآفاق من دون قصد لذلك، سوى أنهم قدّموا في حياتهم وتعاملهم نموذجاً يدفع الآخرين للاقتداء بهم. أما الشيخ علي الدقر فقد أصّل لوضع أسس لمذهب في الحياة، لا يقوم على الأخذ بالعلم فحسب، ولا على العناية بالعربية أيضاً.. وإنما خرّج أعلاماً أضافوا إلى ما عند العلماء حرقة تنبع من القلب، جعلتهم دعاة حالٍ ومقال، نذروا أنفسهم لهداية الناس، فكانوا من الفئة التي حازت قصب السبق من المصطفين الأخيار. خرّج الشيخ علي الدقر جيلاً متشبعاً بروح الإخلاص، متمثلاً برسالة يحملها، يبذل من نفسه للآخرين، لا يطلب منهم جزاء ولا شكوراً. ولذلك أحيا الله به وبأمثاله من العلماء الأعلام أمماً أنقذوا الناس من الضلال.
