أنهى أرتين مادويان كتابه قائلاً: "مذكراتي، ذكرياتي ومشاهداتي، أنهيتها اليوم في 10 نيسان عام 1984 الموافق يوم ميلادي الثمانين، في نهاية المطاف وبناء على قوانين الطبيعة سأعود إلى الطبيعة حيث أنا جزء منها.. ومن المادة التي تتغيّر من شكل إلى شكل آخر دون نهاية ومن هذه المظاهر مولدي وتطوري وحياتي ككل. لست منهمكاً بفكرة الموت. في النهاية لا مفر منه، ولا يدعو للخوف إذا اقتربنا من الموضوع بمنطق وتروٍّ. فمن الطبيعي أنني، مثل كل إنسان، كنت أتمنى أن تكون حياتي أكثر طولاً، ويكون لديّ إمكانية الاستمرار للقيام بواجباتي الإنسانية والاجتماعية والوطنية. خلال حياتي حصلت على تجارب متنوعة ومتعددة وبناءً عليه فقناعاتي ثابتة ونهائية، وإذا ما حصل في الطبيعة ما لا يحصل وعادت حياتي من جديد، فبكلّ تأكيد ودون تردّد كنت سأتابع الحياة التي مارستها حيث أنني مقتنع بها. هي طريق الانتصار النهائي ومصدر لانتصار السعادة، ارتباطاً بتطوّر الشعوب وكل الأمم وكل الأوطان والإنسانية جمعاء، تتحقق أهداف الأمة ضمن إطار علاقات جدلية يغني بعضها بعضاً في المجال الحضاري وتتطور وتزدهر في ظل السلام". يرحل الأشخاص ولا تفنى الأفكار والنضالات. كل شيء يتغير نحو الأفضل أو الأسوأ لكن لا يمكننا تغيير التاريخ وتزويره. ولأن ليس في إمكاننا صنع المعجزات أردنا إحياء أرتين مادويان عبر الطبعة الثانية من كتابه ومذكراته التي هي ليست جزءاً أساسياً من تاريخ الحزب الشيوعي اللبناني فحسب، بل هي جزء أساسي من تاريخ لبنان والمنطقة. مؤسسة جورج حاوي
