الأستاذ الدكتور محمد عادل عبد العزيز هو أستاذ متفرغ بكلية اللغة العربية بجامعة الأزهر - فرع الزقازيق.

وللأستاذ الدكتور محمد عادل عدد من المؤلفات الأخرى لعل أكثرها شهرة هو كتابه الذي كشف فيه عن مكان قبر الإسكندر الأكبر بالأدلة النظرية، وقد أكدت صحة كشفه المجسات التي تمت في الموقع الذي حدده في الإسكندرية بكوم الدكة وهو مسجد ذي القرنين المعروف حالياً باسم مسجد النبي دانيال.
