..يلاحظ في معظم القصائد أن ما يهم الشاعر ويحرص عليه هو عدم اقتراب القصيدة من النفعي أو اليومي المباشر، بحيث إن مفرداته في غالبيتها وإن كانت تدل على بساطة في الاختيار إلا أنها تجعل من المسميات تتحرك عبر إيحاءات وإشارات ينخفض فيها المعنى التقريري لتحل محل الأطياف التي تضيء طبقات القول الشعري (...) ليس غريباً أن يتجه الشاعر في قصائده نحو عالم الغرابة والسوريالية على عكس أترابه ومواطنيه (...) فالصحراء التي تلهم الشعراء لكتابة قصائد تقليدية تقف اليوم في مكان آخر هو رنين المخيلة البكر، ورنين الصورة الشعرية المفاجئة، حتى يمكن القول بأن هذه القصائد ما هي إلا نواة لحالة شعرية جديدة في ثقافة لا ينفذ من تقليديتها إلا القلة.
