وعلى الرغم من مقتل "داد الله" إلا أن شقيقه "حاجي منصور داد الله" يظهر على الخط نفسه فقد التقيته بعد أسابيع على مقتل شقيقه، حين استدعيت من قبل قيادة طالبان لإجراء حوار معه، إذ التقيته في نفس المكان الذي التقيت فيه شقيقه، وتحدثت إليه عن المرحلة المقبلة، ومدى تأثير قتل "داد الله" على الحركة ونشاطها العسكري ومستقبلها.
حركة طالبان شغلت الناس أيام حكمها بقدر شغلها الناس والعالم بعد خلعها عن السلطة ولا زالت، فالوضع الأمني الطالباني بشكل أحجية ولغزاً للمنطقة والعالم.
الكل معني بهذه الحركة التي استأثرت بالمشهد الدولي سياسياً وإعلامياً وعسكرياً طوال السنوات الماضية، فالبعض شدّته لكونه معجباً بها وبمواقفها الصلبة، والبعض الآخر شدّته لأنه معني بأمنه وهي التي احتضنت المطلوب رقم واحد عالمياً أسامة بن لادن.
إن الدرس الأهم في الحرب على أفغانستان وغير أفغانستان هو أن تغيير وإستبدال الأنظمة لا يمكن أن يوفر حياة أفضل في ظل غياب العدل وتكافؤ الفرص، والدرس الآخر المهم هو أن نصيحة ميكافيلي للأمير بأن يختار أن يكون مخيفاً على أن يكون محبوباً سياسة مغلوطة في السياسة والعلاقة الدولية، فالحب في العلاقات الدولية مهم كالحب في العلاقات الزوجية.
