أسامة سيد غريب كاتب صحفي مصري وروائي خريج كلية الإعلام جامعة القاهرة يجيد عدة لغات.
اشتهر بالكتابة الساخرة وأدب الرحلات.
عُدت مقالاته بجريدة المصري اليوم نقطة تحول في زيادة عدد محبى هذا النوع من الكتابة التي تمزج النقد السياسي بأدب الرحلات بالسخرية والتي نشر بها روايته (همّام وإيزابيلا) مسلسة.
وتجدر الإشارة إلي أن كتابه الأول "مصر ليست أمي..دي مرات أبويا" قد لقي حفاوة كبيرة من القراء حتي أنه طبع ثمانية عشر مرة حتي الآن وتناقلت تنزيله مئات المواقع علي النت باعتباره من أهم الكتب العربية في السنوات الأخيرة.
كتب في عدد من الجرائد منها: جريدة الوطن الكويتية وجريدة الدستور المصرية و التحرير المصرية و المصري اليوم.عمل مديراً لمصر للطيران في الكويت وكندا.

كنت أحلم زمان بأن الثورة التي أنصفت الفلاحين وقامت بتوزيع خمسة فدادين على كل فلاح تمنحني بالمثل أفدلة خمسة.. وتمنيت أن أبني في وسطهم بيتًا صغيرًا من الطوب اللبن على طريقة المعماري الأعظم حسن فتحي، وأن أزرع الأرض بيدي وردًا وفلًا وياسمينًا ورياحين وأبيع جزءًا من الأزهار لأتعيش من ثمنها وأهدي الباقي لأصدقائي، وأجلس على باب البيت وبجواري زير الماء البارد ثم أمد بصري للأمام فأشاهد الأفق الممتد والحقول الخضراء وأملأ من منظرها عيني ومخيلتي ولا أفعل شيئًا سوى أن أكتب أشعارًا تزيد وتكبر كل يوم لتشكل دواوين كثيرة أعصر فيها قلبي وأقدمه للعشاق... لكن يا خسارة ضاع الحلم وتم سحب الأرض من الفلاحين!
