مجموعة من المقالات القصصية تتناول العلاقة العاطفية نفسياً بين الرجل والمرأة بالكتاب 16 مقال قصصي متنوع في الموضوعات وطريقة السرد حيث نجد الكاتب أحيانا قد تناول الموضوع من وجهة نظر نسائية وتحدث بصيغة المتكلم أو الغائب وأحيانا أخرى نجده قد تناول الموضوع من وجهة نظر رجل وتحدث بصيغة المخاطب أو المتكلم وهكذا أما المقال القصصي فهو فن أدبي يمزج مابين خصائص القصة القصيرة والشعر والمقال والخاطرة حيث يأخذ من القصة القصيرة طريقة سرد الفكرة ومن الشعر التصوير واخيال والموسيقى الداخلية ومن المقال يأخذ الاعتماد على المقدمة والوسط والخاتمة ومن الخاطرة يأخذ التعمق في الفكرة الواحدة والاستغراق في الإحساس يُعدّ الأديب الراحل مصطفى صادق الرافعي هو اول من ابتدع هذا الفن الأدبي بعدما تحول للكتابة النثرية تاركاً الشعر وفي هذا الكتاب رأى الكاتب أن المقال القصصي هو أقرب الطرق وأكثرها قدرة على التعبير عن أفكاره.. وإن كان طوّر من شكل المقال القصصي التقليدي
