يحتوي هذا الكتاب على دراسة تتناول بالتحليل أربعة جرائم عالجها القرآن الكريم، وهذه الجرائم هي: جريمة قتل ابن آدم لأخيه، جريمة امرأة العزيز التي كان الباعث عليها الشهوة الجنسية العارمة التي سيطرت على هذه المرأة، جريمة قوم لوط - وهي إتيانهم الفاحشة، جريمة شروع اخوة يوسف في قتله، كما ويحتوي الكتاب على أبحاث في موضوعات مختلفة، هي وإن بدت بعيدة عن الجريمة والمعالجة القرآنية لها، إلا أنها في الواقع لا تخلو من الفائدة، مثال ذلك الخطأ في تسمية الشذوذ الجنسي باللواط، لأنه ينسب هذا النشاط الإجرامي إلى كل ذلك ثم تقدمه في عرض رائع مفصل ثم التطرق فيه لجريمة من حب دوافعها أو بواعثها والعوامل المختلفة التي أدت إلى وقوعها، والملابسات التي سبقتها أو عاصرتها مثل التخطيط لها والإعداد لارتكابها، ومرحلة التنفيذ وما أعقبه من آثار، فصلاً عن البصمات الشخصية لمرتكبيها.
تناول الكتاب الجريمة من جانب القرآن الكريم ، من خلال القصص القرآنى ؛ فعرض أربع جرائم :أولها قتل قابيل لهابيل، والثانية محاولة أخوة يوسف قتله ، والثالثة محاولة أمرأة العزيز مع يوسف ، والرابعة ارتكاب الفاحشة فى قوم لوط .
