يَخرج الجنون مِن قمقمه، ليُعلن للعالم أنّ النبوءةَ نافذةٌ، بدأ الناس يتزاحمون حوله، يلوذون بهالته التي حجبت عنه – في غرائبية ملغِزة- السُّحُبَ والنارَ والدخان، حجبت عنه هذا الأذى غيرَ المسبوق، يهبِطون فوق يده يستمسكون بها، وفيما بين الانتباه والرهبة والفزع العظيم ثغرة، مجرّد لحظة، يستثمرها بنجاح، ويحقن خلالها داخل كل العقول المركزّة والأعين المنتظرة سيادته عليهم جميعاً، وهو مُنْتشٍ، سامقٌ بعباءته السوداء إلى أعلى، شَعره متهدّل، وعينُه الوحيدةُ مكحّلة، كان يصيح: - إنّ رّبكم أولاني عليكم، قدِّسوني. صائحاً، فتتزلزل الأجواء مع صياحه أكثر، ويتهدّم كلّ مَبنى أكثر، ويلتفّ حوله الناس، يحتمون به، يستنجدون، ومِن حوله يتساقط كلّ شيء، وتَختنِق التفاصيل، ويتغطّى المدى بألحفة مِن نار ومِن سخط، والناس إنْ نجا واحد، هرول إليه يتخالط بمن احتمى، حتّى أصبحت هالته مليئةً بالناجين، أولئك الذين لم يُصدّقوا نبوءتَه بدءاً، فتكدّس حوله البشر، ووجوههم تسفِر عن الهلع العظيم، والبرّ كلّه بات حطاماً، رأسه أدناه وقلبه رأسه، والغبار يتطاير، والحديد يعربِد فوق الرؤوس، سياخه تشق الصدور، وتنفد مِن بين الأجسام، وتُهلِك مَن لم يَحتمِ، و"الرائي" لم يزل يصيح: - أنا حاملُ كتابِ النّبي الأول.
