أما مواضيع الكتاب فقد قسمت إلى قسمين القسم الأول يتحدث عن حالة الأرواح في عالم البرزخ وهو ينقسم إلى أحد عشر فصلاً، أما القسم الثاني فيتحدث عن كيفية استفادة الأرواح من الخيرات والصدقات في عالم البرزخ وهو ينقسم إلى عشرة فصول. هذا وقد دعم المؤلف موضوعات كتابه بالعديد من الآيات القرآنية الكريمة والأحاديث النبوية الشريفة والرؤى الصادقة التي تؤيد ما ورد في الأحاديث المبحوثة لتكون هذه المنامات مصاديق للمفاهيم التي وردت في الروايات الشريفة، وفي ذلك مزيد من الوضوح للقراء والمطلعين.
