يعرض الكاتب في كتابه هذا أسماء الأسر النجدية المتحضرة بالكويت ويوضح إلى أي القبائل تنتمي هذه الأسر الكريمة، وتطرق الكاتب لتلك الأسر التي استقرت في الكويت إثر هجرتها مباشرة من نجد إلى الكويت، وكذلك لم يهمل الأسر التي توقفت في محطات أخرى قبل إستقرارها في الكويت كمدينة الزبير وبوادي الكويت المتاخمة للمملكة العربية السعودية والعراق قبل إستقرارها في الكويت.
