الحيلة كانت السبيل لانتزاع النصر في طروادة، وقد أعقب هذا الانتصار "للآخيين" عقاب لهم وخيم، لأنهم دمروا هياكل "طروادة" المقدسة ودنسوا حرماتها، وارتكبوا من الفحشاء والجرائم الوحشية منا يندّى له الجبين خجلاً. ولكن أعظم المحن وأقساها كانت من نصيب "أوليس" ورجاله في طريق عودتهم من "طروادة" إلى وطنهم، وهذه الملحمة المقتبسة من روائع الأدب تروي بأسلوب روائي مشوّق يسرد أحداثاً ووقائع أسطورية مغامرات "أوليس" البطل اليوناني في رحلة عودته إلى وطنه. وهذه القصة ملحمة أدبية تمثل عملاً من الأعمال الأدبية الخالدة التي تساعد سلسلة الأبطال على نشرها بين الناشئة بأسلوب أدبي جمع بين فصاحة اللغة ومتانة التركيب بما يتناسب وقدرات الناشئة اللغوية وأسلوبهم اللغوي في التعبير.
ملحمة شعريّة اقتبسها الكاتب عن رائعة "هوميروس". يروي فيها بإيجاز محبَّب وأسلوب سلس مغامرات "أوليس" البطل اليونانيّ، في البرّ والبحر، في طريق عودته من "طروادة" إلى بلاده بعد غياب طويل.
