فقدت الأمكنة خصوصيتها جراء حصارها واكتساحها للأبصار والأرواح، و تم استدعاء معدات شديدة التعقيد لملء المساحات الشاغرة، فراح يتم كنس الكائنات البشرية عما بقي من محيطها الطبيعي، ما ضاعف من حصارها واستغراقها إلى حد الاختناق، فكان من الضروري إزاء ذلك تفريخ كائنات بشرية لديها قدرة خارقة على التكيف مع المستجدات الحديثة، غايتها الأساسية التهافت والتكالب على كل ما يتاح لها القبض عليه، فظهر سباق محموم، مجرد من أية قيمة إنسانية، ولم يعد ثمة ضير لمن تتوفر لديه شروط القوة والغلبة، بالقفز و السير على أرواح من هم أقل قوة وغلبة ليظفر بمراده. كأن ذلك تم على نحو لم نع نتائجه، إلا وكنا قد فقدنا وسائل الردع والدفاع عن ذواتنا، وبتنا قابعين في أقفاص براقة مجردين من حريتنا الداخلية وكرامتنا الإنسانية،ومن هنا لم تعد الأقفاص بالنسبة لنا سجوناً، وإنما هي مجرد أمكنة تفرخ أقواماً ممسوخين، مغرمين بالخواء الذي يسعون إليه ويحتاجونه لمضاعفة عمائهم.
