في مساء السادس من فبراير عام 2001م يدخل من بوابة الشمس التي لا تملُّ المغيب... يحمل في كيسه المتكرّر ورق الوقت، علَّقَ في رقبته حبلاً متسخاً ينتهي بنظارة تتدلّى حتى سُرّتَه، يعدّه المثقفون آخر الشيوعيين في جزيرة العرب، ويصفه سائق الليموزين بالمجنون، ويعتقد بائع العرق البلدي أنه عميل سيساهم معه في المراباة بأموال الفقراء والمساكين!... هيئته مدنيّة رثّة، وكلماته المتقاطعة أبيات شعرية تتكرّر في اللقاء الواحد خمس مرات، يتحدث عن "كارل ماركس" كما يتحدث عن بائع نقاب المحجبات، ولا يؤدي الصلاة جماعة تمرّداً على تلك الصباحات التي تغيّب عنها من البرد صغيراً، فوضعوه في قائمة المجلودين بأمر الله واللحى المبعثرة... وتحليل الربا، وتحريم طقطقة الأصابع ونبذ السبحة وتجريم!... ترويج الصحف والمجلات المهرّبة من الكويت. هو بعيد عن الحكاية لدى العامة... وقريب منها في سيرته التي تبدأ بالنهايات!...
