"زمن القهر" عمل روائي للكاتب الأردني "هشام صالح عبد الله" يدخل في خانة أدب المقاومة، يلقي الضوء على الوضع الجهاد في فلسطين العام 1935 –حيث بدأت أول ثورة في تاريخ فلسطين ثورة عز الدين القسام ورفاقه ومقاومتهم لإقامة الوطن القومي اليهودي في البلاد. وفي هذا العمل سنقابع الملحمة البطولية لمجموعة من الشباب العربي المجاهد والذين تتملكهم الروح الوطنية والتضحية في سبيل الوطن، ومن بينهم "مسعود" بطل الرواية الذي يترك العمل في البحر وينضم إلى عصبة من جماعة القسام فينخرط مع زملائه في الكفاح المسلح ضد سلطة الانتداب واليهود، حتى يجد نفسه، أمام مهام صعبة وخطيرة تؤدي إلى إصابته... عندئذ "أدرك مسعود أن تلك اللحظة هي التي ستحدد مسار حياته حتى آخر يوم من عمره. لم يكن مدركاً أنها اللحظة التي ستدفع به للوقوف في وجه الطوفان الذي يجتاح فلسطين، جارفاً في طريقه القسام والسعدي والحسيني وآلآفاً من الشهداء الذين قرروا أن استعادة الوطن هي الحياة، وأن لا قيمة لحياة يحكمها القهر. اختار مسعود طريقه كان الوطن أهم من الصداقة والأهل والعشيرة: واصل حتى النهاية رافضاً إلا أن يكون حصاناً برياً لا يحكمه اللجام، رأى البلاد تتسرب أمامه شبراً شبراً، ورأى المصالح الشخصية تسود على مصلحة الوطن، لكنه لم ينجرف ولم يتنازل ولم تقهر روحه أبداً حتى في زمن كان يستحق بامتياز أن يوصف بأنه زمن القهر".
