يصفون أجسادهم، وينصبون أجسامهم بين يدي ربهم في أدب وخشوع، وذل وخضوع، يقرءون كتابه، ويتلون آياته، ويمجدونه ويعظمونه ويحمدونه ويمدحونه…. تسبقهم الدموع والعبرات، والندم على العثرات، والاعتراف بالهفوات والزلات…. يبسطون أيديهم، ويسألون حاجتهم، والنفوس بالشوق تسبقهم، والقلوب بالحب تقربهم، يهتفون من سويدائها: أن جئناك فاقبلنا، وأتيناك فلا تردنا، وسألناك فأعطنا، واسترحمناك فارحمنا، واسترضيناك فارض عنا، أنت العزيز ونحن الأذلاء، انت القوي ونحن الضعفاء، أنت الغني ونحن الفقراء، ولا استغناء يا رب عنك فاقبلنا.
