يعد كتاب برزخ العالم الثالث محاولةٌ واقعية لتسجيل مذكرات سجين, كُتبت في زنزانة من زنزانات أجهزة الأمن في إحدى دول الاستبداد والقمع في الشرق المقهور. وهو يستعرض بعض الصور المؤلمة، وأنواع الظلم والعذاب الجسدي والنفسي الذي كان يرزح تحته السجناء في ذلك السجن الخاص، ويخاطب أخاه الإنسان خارجَ أسوار المعتقلات والسجون، ويحذره من أن تهوي به رياح الظلم إلى ذلك المكان السحيق، ويطالبه أن يمارس دوره ويضغط بقوة على مراكز القرار الإعلامية لرفع الظلم والحيف الذي يعاني منه المستضعفين وضحايا الاستبداد.
