"ديوان روح بلقيس" تهديه الشاعرة "بلقيس الجنابي" إلى وطنها العراق حيث تشتبك معان إنسانية رهيفة تشكل ثلاثياً وجدانياً ما بين الوطن والغربة والحبيب، حيث تقارن الشاعرة بين ترك حبيبها وترك بغداد تقول في قصيدة لها بعنوان "بغداد لي بيت" تبوَات قلبي يا أليف مودَتي، فأنت وحيد لي بأنسي ووحدتي/ فلله ما أحلاك طيفاً أضمَه، إلى ذات روحي بارتياحٍ ونشوةٍ (...) / كأني بأفياء النخيل مقيمة، وبغداد لي بيتُ وبغداد خيمتي.
لقد حملت الشاعرة بلقيس في قلبها هموماً لا حصر لها نتيجة ما حلَ بوطنها العراق فهي ابنة قبيلة عريقة "بني ضخر" التي تعتز بانتمائها إليها، مثلما تعتز بوطنها العراق، فهي في عزبتها القيسرية تعاني مثلما عانى آلاف العراقيين ممن هجروا العراق فراراً من القتل والتدمير والانتقام الذي جاء نتيجة الاحتلال الأمريكي ومروحي الطائفية التي جلبت للبلاد المىسي والدمار. تقول في إحدى قصائدها: "نبكي العراق مآثراً مفاخراً، قد شوهتها الروم والأعجام/ تبكي العراق مساجداً ومنابراً، وحسينيات كلهن حطام/ تبكي العراق مقسماً ومضيعاً ، قد غاب عنه الفارس الضرغام.
هذا، ويضم هذا الديوان ما يزيد عن خمسين قصيدة عبَرت عن أدب جاد وملتزم قل مثيله بين شعراء جيلها.
