وهذا الكتاب يجمع بين دفتيه، كل معلومة، وكل مقال، كتب في الشهيد "عماد فايز مغنية" ليضيء مسيرة مناضل، كان رمزاً من رموز المقاومة الوطنية اللبنانية الذي قدم حياته قرباناً لوطنه، حتى صار أنموذجا يحتذى به.
من مقال في الكتاب للأستاذ "طلال سلمان" بعيد اغتيال مغنية يقول فيه سلمان: " ... لقد جاء اغتيال "المقاوم المطلق" عماد مغنية جرس إنذار ينبه من غفل من اللبنانيين إلى أن الحرب الإسرائيلية لما تنته، وأن جولاتها مفتوحة بعد، وأن عليهم أن يستعدوا لمخاطرها بوحدتهم وبوعيهم لحقيقة أن عدوهم الإسرائيلي سيبقى عدوهم، وأنه كان وما زال وسيبقى المستفيد الأول من فرقتهم ومن اختلافاتهم التي تضعف وحدتهم وبالتالي قدرتهم على الصمود ...".
