لا نعرف الوقت، وما جدوى السؤال عن الوقت، نحن متوقفات، نحيا من أجل أن نتزين ونتلون ونتفنن في رقصات السرير، ليعرفهم زمنهم أو ليستعيدوا زمنهم.
عرفت كم أننا نتوقف حين ندري بأن أحاسيسنا وأسماءنا وتاريخنا، وكل شيء يدل على وجونا يباع رخيصاً أو يأخذ بكل سهولة... كيف أجمع أحلامي المكتوبة على عاتقي وأنا أدري أن أجدادي الذين منحوني حياة غالية كانوا قد سرقوا؟ ربما قد يسرق جسدي مني آجلاً أم عاجلاً.
كيف سأكبر القاعدة التي تدعمني كسرت؟ عليّ أن أسترجع تاريخي الذي اقتطعه أولئك الذين يبحثون لهم عن تاريخ، وأنت عليكِ أن تعيدي كيانك إلى جسدك... كل واحد عليه أن يعيد كل شبر ضاع منه. ولم تنته.
