تأتي هذه الدراسة في محاولة لوضع لبنة في بناء السياق العلمي للنظام الاقتصادي الإسلامي. وقد اشتمل هذا البحث على أربعة محاور تناول أولها مفهوم التنمية البشرية من وجهة النظر الاقتصادية، في حين تناول الثاني الإسلام والتنمية البشرية، وبحث الثالث في النظام المالي للإسلام ودوره في تمويل التنمية البشرية. وتم أخيراً في المحور الرابع التطرق إلى بعض التطبيقات النبوية التي تتواءم والتنمية البشرية. وتهدف للوصول إلى استنتاج مفاده بأن الرجوع إلى الإسلام بمصادره التشريعية كافة كفيل بتحقيق النهوض وإزالة الجمود ووضع البديل لإخفاقات النظريات الاقتصادية الحديثة، وشق الطريق الصحيح بتنمية المجتمع وأفراده على حد سواء، وأداء الدور الذي أراده الله لنا في هذه الحياة.
