إن الدعاء هو مخ العبادة؛ فهو إظهارُ غايةِ التذلُّلِ والافتقارِ والطاعة والخضوع والاستكانةِ لله ، وهذا هو المعنى العميق للعبادات، بل هو ما شرعت من أجله؛ فالعِبادة ذُلٌّ وخُضوعٌ وطاعة للخالق الأعظم . كما أنه يحب من العبد اللجوء إليه، بل إنه ينزل في الثلث الأخير من الليل فيقول: «مَنْ يَدْعُونِي فَأَسْتَجِيبَ لَهُ؟ مَنْ يَسْأَلُنِي فَأُعْطِيَهُ؟ مَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرُنِي فَأَغْفِرَ لَهُ؟». كما أن الدعاء هو سلاح المؤمن حين تشتد الأمور وتظلم الأحوال وتضيق جميع السبل؛ فلا ملجأ من الله إلا إليه، ولا مجيبَ سواه، ولا راحمَ غيرُه. والدعاء خيرُ ما تُصرَف فيه الأوقاتُ وتَمضِي فيه الأنفاسُ بعدَ القرآنِ الكريمِ، فهو أعظمُ أسبابِ سعادةِ العبدِ وراحتِهِ وطُمأنينتِهِ وفلاحِهِ في كُلِّ أمورِهِ، وهو مِفتاحٌ لكلِّ خيرٍ ينالُه العبدُ في الدُّنيا والآخرةِ. وهو سبب لشعور المؤمن بالراحة والطمأنينة وأنه في معية الله . ودار الفاروق للاستثمارات الثقافية يسعدها أن تقدِّم إلى القراء الأعزَّاء «مكنز الدعاء» وهو أشمل وأكمل كتاب ظهر باللغة العربية احتوى على الأدعية المأثورة وغيرها في كل ما يمر به المسلم في حياته من ظروف وأحوال يحتاج فيها إلى الدعاء.
