[ ابن هشام الأنصاري ـ شيوخه ـ تلاميذه ـ مؤلفاته ـ جلال الدين السـيـوطي ـ مؤلَّـفاته الـنـحـوية ـ شـرحـه على شـواهـد المغني ـ مغـني اللبيب ـ أهميته ـ شـروحه ـ هذه النسخة ومنهج العمل فيها ] الحمد لله ربِّ العالمين، والصلاة والسلام على أشرف الخلق سيدنا محمد، وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين، أمَّا بعد … فهذه مقدمة مختصرة بين يدي الكتاب، أسأل الله أن تكون نافعة. ابن هشام الأنصاري: ابن هشام هو أبو محمد، عبد الله، جمال الدين بن يوسف بن أحمد بن عبد الله بن هشام الأنصاري المصري، المولود بالقاهرة عام 708 هـ ، والمتوفى بها سنة 761 هـ . شيوخه: تتلمذ ابن هشام على الشهاب عبد اللطيف بن المرحل، وتلا على شمس الدين ابن السراج، وسمع ديوان زهير بن أبي سُلمى على أبي حيَّان، من غير أن يلازمه أو يقرأ عليه غيرَه من الكتب، وحضر دروس التاج التبريزي، وقرأ على التاج الفاكهاني شرح الإشارة عدا الورقة الأخيرة منه، وحدث عن ابن جماعة بالشاطبية، وتفقَّه على مذهب الإمام الشافعي، ثم توجَّه إلى المذهب الحنبلي وحفظ مختصر الخرقي. تلاميذه: مِمَّن أخذوا عن ابن هشام وتتلمذوا له: إبراهيم الأميوطي، ونور الدين النابلسي، وابن الفرات، وناصر الدين النويري، وعبد الله بن مفلح المقدسي.
