يسعى هذا الكتاب لبيان شمولية المنهج الإسلامي في تأمين الأنفس والأعراض والأموال على مستوى التشريع والتقعيد والتنظير.
على مستوى الواقع والعمل والتطبيق، وعلى مستوى الوقاية والتخفيف والتعويض، بالإضافة إلى بيان مواضع الخلل ومواطن القصور والتقصير في منظومة التأمين الوضعي وما فيه من الضرر على بني الإنسان.
وبالعودة لمتن البحث نجد أن المؤلف قد مهد له بالحديث عن شريعة الإسلام والأوضاع المعاصرة، مبرزاً مكانة الشريعة الإلهية وما لها من الخصائص والمميزات الحسان كالتكامل والشمول والوفاء بمصالح العباد، والتنبيه إلى الخسائر والأضرار الناجمة عن عدم تحكيمها في حياة البشر.
وبين أهمية الاجتهاد المنضبط في القضايا المعاصرة، وبخاصة العقود الحاكمة للمعاملات المالية المعاصرة.
وجاء الباب الأول متوسعاً في تقرير منظومة التأمين الإسلامي بالأدلة، من حيث المبادئ والأسس تقعيداً ووقاية ومنهج التطبيق ومعالجة الأضرار والتعويض عنها، على كل مستويات الحياة، ووفق الصور المتنوعة والمتجددة.
أما الباب الثاني فقد أفاض فيه في بيان حقيقة التأمين الوضعي وأسسه ومبادئه وتطبيقاته وصوره، والأضرار الناجمة عنه، بتناول ذكي، واستدلال بين، وأسلوب سلس، ثم خلص إلى تقرير حكم التأمين وحكم التعامل مع مؤسساته وجملة أخرى من الأحكام العامة ذات العلاقة ثم ختم بحثه بأهم النتائج وفي ثناياها بعض المقترحات التي يجدر بنا تأملها.
وقد استقى الباحث معلوماته من أكثر من أربعمائة مصدر، منها أمهات كتب التخصص قديماً وحديثاً، والمراجع الأساسية له قديمة وحديثة ومعاصرة.
كتاب يتضمن محاولة لإبراز نظام الإسلام المتكامل في تأمين الأنفس والأموال من الأضرار: تشريعاً، ووقاية، ورعاية، وتعويضاً. وعرض للتأمين الوضعي وبين أحكامه.
