لكل شخص نصيب من اسمه" قيل هذا قديمًا، لكن الأمر لا يسري على "أروى"، بطلة "سهم غرب"، فهي لم تكن بارعة بالحكاية والرواية كما يدعي اسمها، بل كانت كصخرة سيزيف، صامتة، وثقيلة كعبء كبير، هي فتاة لم يتحملها أحد فلم تتحمل نفسها، انطوت، وانعزلت.. كانت تصمد يوم آخر جديد في وجه الحياة عن طريق حشر فمها برقائق البطاطا المقلية وأكياس الإندومي الرخيصة ومشاهدة الدرامات والمسلسلات إنها فتاة متروكة ومهجورة من الجميع، تحيا بعالمها الخاص، بكلمات أمها التي تركت داخلها أثرًا بالغًا قبل وفاتها، "أروى" انعكاسًا خالصًا لوالدتها ووالدتها انعكاسًا خالصًا لها بدورها.. فهي تردد كلمات أمها، نقاشها مع أمها، تكون أقرب للمناجاة الذاتية منها مشادات بين الأم وابنتها.. لهذا قد نتساءل: هل وجدت تلك الأم من الأساس؟ هل وجدت تلك المناجاة؟ أم كانت "أروى" دائمًا هكذا وحيدة ومتروكة ومهجورة كصخرة صامتة تخشى البوح بأي شيء؟ لكن "أروى" في أحد الأيام قررت البوح، لماذا؟ لأن انكسارًا جديدًا حدث تصدع كبير بدأ بالظهور بحياتها المتخلعة.. ذلك التصدع جعلها ترغب بالحديث لأحد الأصدقاء.. فمن تختاره "أروى" كي تحكي له عن كل ما مرت به ومر بها؟ لقد اختارت صديقًا بعيدًا، في النصف الآخر من العالم، صديقًا وجِد أو لم يكن له وجود.. هي فقط قررت الكتابة، الاستمرار في الكتابة تخبره بكل شيء لكن هل محاولتها للتواصل من جديد مع العالم ستنجح؟ هل قرار البوح بكل ما بداخلنا هو القرار الصحيح؟ أم الانعزال وبالبقاء داخل القوقعة وأكل كيسًا جديدًا من الإندومي هو الحل؟ الرواية الفائزة بجائزة أخبار الأدب في دورتها الأولى 2015 لجنة التحكيم: جمال الغيطاني، محمود الورداني، شرين أبو النجا إحدى الروايات التي أشاد بها الغيطاني قبل وفاته
