مدخل الرواية أصوات أبواق .. سيارات إسعاف على ما يبدو .. أصوات تخترق صمت الليل وسكونه .. فتحيله الى نهار .. نهار يمتلأ باللونين الأحمر والازرق .. سيارات تمشي في صف متظم .. كأنها طابور من الجند .. تساؤلات تعم الشارع.. أي شارع يعبره كل هذا الكم من السيارات في يوم واحد .. البعض يقول انه حريق بأحد مصانع المدن الجديدة.. البعض يقول ان ارهابيا فجر سيارة بميدان التحرير.. أما العارفين ببواطن الامور فقد قالوا انها عملية تمويه لتحركات عسكرية شديدة السرية !!! صدق من قال انها بلاد الاشاعات .. في داخل احدى السيارات .. اجلس وقد عكف احد الممرضين على تضميد جرح بذراعي .. لكن عيناي معلقة بذلك الوجه النائم في غيبوبة كاملة - والذي يبدو للوهلة الاولى ملائكيا بريئا - .. وعيناه ترقص من خلف جفنيه في سباق محموم .. وجه اعرفه جيداً .. وجه كان منذ يومين يتدلى غليون خشبي انيق من طرف فمه .. هاهو يرقد الان بلا حراك .. وجه صحفي شاب ... معتوه نوعا .. لكنه يحمل داخل رأسه عقلا لا بأس به.. وجه صديقي ورفيق شبابي .. من انا ؟؟!! سؤال غريب في هذا الوقت بالذات .. احدثكم عن هذا الوجه الراقد .. فتسألون من انا .. قمة الخروج عن السياق .. حسنا .. انا ضابط شرطة برتبة رائد .. ادعى عماد .. واعمل بمباحث القاهرة .. اعتقد ان هذا واضحا.. والان هل عرفتم من صاحب هذا الوجه .. ؟؟!!
