لقد شكلت عملية تسليح وحدات جيش التحرير الوطني إبان الثورة المسلحة معضلة عويصة لقيادة الثورة في الخارج. وهذا الكتاب يحكي قصة عمليتين كبيرتين أقدمت عليهما القيادة لتزويد المنطقة الغربية بالسلاح عبر البحر إحداهما تمت بنجاح وهي عملية ” يخت دينا” التي قادها الرئيس الراحل هواري بومدين، أما الثانية وهي عملية “مركب أطوس” فقد تمت قرصنتها في الحوض الغربي للمتوسط من طرف القوات البحرية الفرنسية وهي على وشك النجاح. وهذا من خلال سرد جزء من مسار مجاهد عاش الحدث، يكشف فيه عن تفاصيل مثيرة ضلت غامضة، ويلقي فيه الضوء على صفحة ناصعة من تاريخ ثورتنا المجيدة.
