إن الحمد لله نحمده ونستعينه ونستغفره ونستهديه ونعوذ بالله من شرور أنفسنا وسيئات أعمالنا، من يهده الله فلا مضل له، ومن يضلل فلا هادي له، واشهد أن لا اله إلا الله واشهد أن محمداً عبده ورسوله، وأصلي وأسلم عليه وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين وبعد. فإن علم الميراث من العلوم الإسلامية التي يحتاج إليها جميع المسلمين، وإنني من خلال عملي في المحاكم الشرعية لمست حاجة الناس إلى هذا العلم والى اختصاره اختصاراً غير مخل، لا سيما وقد وصل جهل الناس بأحكام المواريث إلى حد كبير حتى أن بعض الناس يسأل عن مسائل بسيطة جداً.
