تميزت الأحزاب السياسية السودانية كغيرها من الأحزاب في دول العالم الثالث بحالة من الانقسامات والانشقاقات التي أدت بدورها إلى فقدان الاستقرار السياسي على مدى عدد من النظم العسكرية والمدنية التي حكمت السودان، فقد ظهر أول انشقاق حزبي في السودان في الخمسينات من القرن الماضي وذلك في صفوف حزب الأشقاء ثم الوطني الاتحادي، ولكن يعتبر الانشقاق الذي حدث للجبهة الإسلامية القومية في العام 1998م فيما يعرف (بالمفاصلة) يعتبر هذا الانشقاق هو الأكثر تأثيراً على الحياة السياسية والاستقرار السياسي في السودان، فما هو دور الأحزاب المنشقة عن المفاصلة في الاستقرار السياسي وما هو هذا الانشقاق على النظام السياسي؟ الأسئلة الفرعية: • ما الأسباب وراء الانشقاقات وسط الأحزاب السودانية؟ • ما هي الأٍسباب وراء حدوث انشقاق الجبهة الإسلامية القومية؟ • ما أثر هذا الانشقاق على الاستقرار السياسي؟ • ما آثار هذا الانشقاق على النظام السياسي؟ فروض البحث: • الحزب السياسي مؤسسة جامعة ما يحدث بداخله يتأثر به النظام السياسي. • إن الانشقاق الذي حدث للجبهة الإسلامية له آثار كثيرة ماثلة حتى الآن. • انعكست آثار هذا الانشقاق على استقرار النظام السياسي. • إن انشقاق الجبهة الإسلامية أظهر دوراً للمؤتمر الشعبي في الاستقرار السياسي. أهداف البحث: 1. معرفة طبيعة الأحزاب السياسية السودانية وخلفية عنها. 2. توضيح مفهوم الحزب السياسي. 3. توضيح مفهوم الانشقاق الحزبي وذلك بذكر أمثلة له. 4. توضيح مفهوم الاستقرار السياسي ومقوماته. 5. توضيح الآثار الناتجة عن الانشقاق الذي يحدث للجبهة الإسلامية من آثار سياسية واجتماعية واقتصادية. 6. إبراز دور الأحزاب الناتجة عن المفاصلة (المؤتمر الشعبي ، الوطني) في النظام السياسي والاستقرار السياسي.
