بين طيات هذا الكتاب عدد من الوصايا النبوية الطبية المباركة تخص المرأة المسلمة، وتهمها في شؤون حياتها الخاصة والعامة. والوصية هي عهد يؤخذ على الإنسان في مواضع النصح والإرشاد، والحث على الفضائل، والأخلاق الحسنة، وفعل الخيرات، وترك المنكرات واجتنابها.
وسيدنا محمد خاتم النبيين صلى الله عليه وسلم أوصى أمته بوصايا غالية، شريفة في مجالات العقيدة والمعاملات والآداب والأخلاق، حتى أنك لتظنين أنه صلى الله عليه وسلم لم يترك مجالاً من مجالات العقيدة والعبادة والمعاملات إلا وقد أوصى أمته بالحسنى منها. ووصاياه صلى الله عليه وسلم منها ما هو عام للرجال وللنساء، أي: للمسلمين والمسلمات.
ومنها ما يخص الرجال وحدهم، ومنها وصايا تخص المرأة، ونفع هذه الوصايا والإرشادات يعم الإنسانية بأكملها إن عملت بموجبها. وإن وصايا النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أياً كانت فهي جامعة لمعاني الخير والصلاح والهدى. وإن هذه الوصايا تشتمل على نواح شتى كلها تفيد المرأة المسلمة، وتحاول دفعها قدماً نحو الخير، والحياء والعفاف والتقي وتربية أولادها التربية الصالحة.
وبالعودة لمنهاج جمع هذه الوصايا نجد أن الباحث قد اهتم أولاً بإدراج الحديث النبوي الشريف الصحيح من ثم قام بشرح نص الوصية على ضوء القرآن الكريم والسنة النبوية المطهرة بعد ذلك شرح المفردات اللغوية الغريبة الواردة في الحديث وذلك عبر اعتماده على كتب الحديث المشهورة، مثل: "شرح صحيح مسلم" للنووي، أو "فتح الباري". بعد ذلك ذكر ما يفهم من الحديث الوصية، حيث يبين أهدافه ومقاصده الأساسية.
