يتحدث هذا الكتاب عن شمائل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وأخلاقه وصفاته الخَلّقية والخُلُقية، وحياته اليومية وعباداته ومتعلقاته ومعجزاته. ينقسم الكتاب بعد المقدمة إلى ثلاثة أبواب؛ الأول تحت عنوان "شخصية النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم"، وتناول فيه المؤلف صفات النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ووظائفه وصورته الحسية وأوصافه المعنوية في أقوال الصحابة وفي القرآن، فضلاً عن فصاحته عليه الصلاة والسلام. وخصص المؤلف الباب الثاني للحديث عن "الحياة اليومية للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم"، في نظافته وطيبه وطعامه وشرابه ولباسه ونومه، وما إلى ذلك. ثم تحدث عن عبادته عليه الصلاة والسلام وأذكاره ودعائه. وختم الباب بمتعلقاته صلى الله عليه وسلم، فأشار إلى نوقه وأفراسه وبغاله وأسلحته وراياته. وجاء الباب الثالث للبحث في "معجزات النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم" فقسمها إلى ثلاثة أنواع؛ معجزات لحاجة معينة وضرورة، ومعجزات إكرام من الله تعالى، ومعجزات إخبار بالغيب وأنباء المستقبل. وختم الباب بالحديث عن المعجزة الباقية، القرآن الكريم؛ فتكلم عن إعجازه البلاغي، وإعجازه في الإخبار بالغيب وعن الأمم السابقة، وإعجازه بالتحدي.. وفي الصفحات الأخيرة قدم المؤلف وصفاً للقرآن الكريم..
