كتاب يبحث في علم رجال الحديث، متخصص في إيراد أسماء الصحابة الذين رووا حديث رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وعدد الأحاديث التي رواها كل واحد منهم، وقد رتب المصنف كتابه هذا على حسب العدد الذي رواه كل صحابي مبتدئا بالأكثر فابتدأ بأصحاب الألوف ثم المئات ثم المائة ثم العشرات وهكذا إلى أصحاب الحديث الواحد وهذه طبعة محققة تحقيقا هاما وموسعا
