السؤال الأهم في حياة البشر والذي أصبح هاجسهم في هذه الآونة هو: هل الجن حقيقة أم خيال ووهم؟ وهل السحر موجود أم هو دجل ليس إلا؟ وهل يدخل الجن في الإنسان؟ اسئلة واستفهامات كثيرة تطرح على بساط البحث والتنقيب، ليجيب عنها هذا المؤلف الذي يحاول الكاتب فيه كشف النقاب عن أمور غيبية تدور حول الجن والملائكة خلقاً وخلقاً، تناول فيها المواضيع التالية: ماهية الملائكة والجن وجنسهم، مراتبهم، تكاثرهم، أنواعهم، مأكلهم مشربهم، نكاحهم، وهل هم حقيقة أم خرافة، كما ألقى الضوء على نظرة العرب القدماء لهم.
وقد عمد في سياق دراسته إلى التمييز بين الجن والشياطين واسباب مسهم للإنسان ومستقرهم في جسد بني آدم، ومن ثم تناول: السحر، لفظاً واصطلاحاً وآداب المعالجة من مس الجن والسحر، وطرائق العلاج، وعلميته وأصول وآداب معالجة النساء من مسّ الجن والسحر والتحصينات التي يمكن للإنسان اتباعهما لحماية نفسه من السحر والجن إلى غير ذلك من الموضوعات الهامة. وقد استند المؤلف في دراسته هذه على القرآن الكريم والسنة النبوية المطهرة وعلى العديد من الدراسات والأبحاث العملية.
