. الرواية الحائزة على جائزة الشارقة في الإبداع العربي 2012 . من الرواية: . وإذ تركض الأيام.. تركض كحصان لا ترجّل من على صهوته ولا توّقف له، وقائع حلمك ليست مخزية، بقدر ما هى حتمية، نتيجة صبر طال، وعمر لا مذاق فيه سوى للفقر. قد أعرف كل هذا، لكننى.. كيف أغفر؟ كيف تغفر أمى؟ ألا تتسامق مفردات الجرم أحياناً أمام بصرك؟ ألا تدرى يا أبت كيف سلّمت نفسك لهذا التيار بقدر ما تدرك أين مصبه؟ ألا تكلّف روحك حثّك على إفاقة ألا تنجيك فأحرى أن تحرّر رقابنا من مشنقة الزمن الآتية بلا محالة؟ إنما.. أبى.. هل تكترث! أنا واقف الآن وسواد شعرى ماض لم يترك بداخلى غير الألم، أنا الآن هنا، واقف أمام باب العبد لأسأل الجنى اللعين، أين أنت؟ لم يبق لى سواك، كم أود أن أشكو لك زمنى، كم أود! أيها الجنى.. ألست بقادر أنت على الرجوع بعجلة الزمن؟ فلتخرج لى، كم أحتاجك الآن! ألست جنياً؟ أم بقاؤك بيننا أفقدك صفاتهم؟ لتخرج ترتب لى سير الأحداث مرّة أخرى، تداخلت وتشتّتت، ساحت داخل ذاكرتى، لعلنى فارت رأسى والتهبت فتعطّل جرى الأحداث، لكن هل يمنعنى هذا من سؤالك أين كان أبى؟ دعنى أراه ولو قليلاً.
