- مدير بحوث في المعهد القومي للبحوث البيداغوجية (INRP).
- مُلحق بالمركز القومي للبحث العلمي (CNRS).
- مسؤول عن عدة اتفاقات بين مركز تحليل الخطاب (CAD) وجامعات مكسيكو ومونتريال وبرشلونة والبرازيل ومدريد.
* تُعدّ منشوراته العلميّة نحو 80 عملاً، من أحدثها معجم تحليل الخطاب بالتعاون مع د.

إن وجهة النظر التي ينهض عليها هذا العلم ليست لغويةً أو قلَّما تكون كذلك، فهي وجهة نظر تدمن درس الإنتاج القولي في عمقه وأعلاه، وذلك لمعرفة مقامات التواصل في شروطها وتقبُّل الكلام الإقناعي في آلياته ( فهم- تأويل- رد فعل). ولن نندهش، في موفى هذا التحليل الوجيز، من أن نستنتج وجود مصطلحية غنية جداً في "سوق" الحِجَاج يتضح من خلالها أن المصطلحات نفسها تحيل على مفاهيم تختلف بحسب الزاوية النظرية التي تحدِّد تلك المفاهيم. هكذا نجد مصطلحات مـن قبـيل : "حِـجَاج" و "بـرهـنة" و " اسـتدلال" و "إقنـاع" و"شـرح" و"اسـتلزام" و" تبرير" و "دحض" إلخ. هو نحوٌ بديعٌ وحديثٌ وفريدٌ: - هو بديعٌ لأنّه ما من نحو سبق أن عالج، وفق قاعدة واحدة من التّماسك، آليات المعنى (القسم الأوّل) ومقولات اللسان ( القسم الثاني) وأشكال انتظام الخطاب (القسم الثالث). - هو حديثٌ لأنّه يقدّم تأليفاً لمختلف الدراسات الدلالية للغة دون أن يفرض نظريةً بعينها، لكنه يحتكم إلى قاعدة تماسك تتلخص في السؤال التالي:" ما هي الوسائل التي يتوافر عليها الفاعل المتكلم لكي يعبِّر؟". فضلاً عن ذلك، هو حديثٌ بالأمثلة الشاهدة على استعمالات حيّة للغة المعاصرة (حوار شفوي، لغات علميّة وتعليميّة وإشهارية وصحفية وأدبية... إلخ). - وهو فريدٌ لأنه يقدم، اعتماداً على المقولات النحوية الكلاسيكية، توصيفاً لمعنى هذه المقولات ولتأثيرات الخطاب التي تؤديها بحسب مقامات التواصل المختلفة.
