اللغة الإنجليزية كانت وأصبحت من أهم اللغات المستخدمة في حياتنا العملية وربما اليومية، كان لا بد من وضع وشرح قواعد تلك اللغة بأسلوب سهل ومشروح بأمثلة بسيطة يتمكن الطالب من فهم القاعدة فهماً مادياً ومعنوياً.
وفي هذا الكتاب وضع "بدر عرابي" أهم القواعد الخاصة باللغة الإنجليزية والتي تدرس في المدارس الأردنية كي تناسب جميع المراحل وقد بدأ شرح تلك القواعد من الصفر (إن أمكن وصفها بذلك) حيث شرحت الضمائر وأشكالها ثم بدأ وبشكل موسع وسلس بشرح الأفعال الكاملة وتصاريفها لنتمكن بعد ذلك من شرح المبنى للمعلوم والمجهول والكلام المباشر وغير المباشر وليشتمل هذا الكتاب أيضاً على بعض القواعد الأساسية للتهجئة وحروف الجر وغيرها من القواعد البسيطة في حياتنا كمتعلمين للغة الإنجليزية.
أما بالنسبة للتمارين الموجودة في الكتاب فإنها تحتاج لفهم كامل للقواعد الموجودة في الكتاب لتكون أيضاً عاملاً آخر لتثبيت المعلومات عند الطالب، وذلك لأنها تحتاج إلى تركيز كل المعلومات التي درسها الطالب ليحل مثالاً واحداً من هذه التمارين.
