يتناول كتاب النحو العربي والمنطق الرياضيّ قوانين اللغة من منطلق علميّ، قوامه مبادئ المنطق الرياضي، لأنّ العنصر اللغوي، كالعنصر الرياضي، لا قيمة له إلا من خلال بنية لغوية تتحكم بسلامتها ووظيفتها الأدائية علاقاتٌ تصون وتحفظ الطبيعة الجينية للجسّد النصيّ، فكان التركيز على الأسس التي أصّل عليها علماء اللغة الأوائل آراءهم ونظرياتهم، وما قاموا به من تفكيك وتحليل وقياس وتركيب وتقعيد وتنظير.
تضمّنت الدراسة إشارات إلى تطور علم النحو، وإلى دور علماء اللغة وما قاموا به من استقراء قادهم إلى استنباط قوانين اللغة العربية، ووضع المصطلحات الدقيقة، فاتسمت جهودهم بروح علميّة وبفاعلية الفكر المنطقيّ، وذلك من خلال المناظرات والمناقشات والدراسات والخلافات التي أسست لحركة لغويّة تمركزت حول علمية النحو، وعلى دوره في تشكيل الأنساق النصيّة.
تتمايز هذه الدراسة باعتماد الأصول النحويّة أساسًا في الكشف عن ماهية الثوابت اللغوية، وعن حدودها وخصائصها وهويتها، سواء أكانت علامة إعراب أم كلمة مفردة، أم تركيب، لأنّ النحو علم رياضيّ له بدهياته ومبادئه الأوليّة الاسميّة والفعليّة والحرفيّة، وله قوانين تشكُّل داخليّ تضبط آليات البناء والإعراب والإسناد و التقديم والتأخير والحذف وفق شروط وعلل وأسباب، أسست لنظريات خصّبت مختبر الفكر العربيّ الإبداعيّ.
تضمّن الكتاب محاولة تهدف إلى تخليص النحو العربي من صنمية الإعادة والتكرار والتلقين، وذلك بالتركيز على قيمة المنهج النحويّ العلميّ المنطقيّ، القائم على نظام استنباطي ينتقل من العلم بقضية معينة هي المقدمة إلى قضية أخرى معينة هي النتيجة، بغية تفعيل الفكر النقدي التعليليّ البرهانيّ بالحجة العقلية، وتحويل الدراسات الصرفيّة والنحويّة عن الجهوزية إلى حركة عقلية تحرّض على فهم التنوع الوظيفي والدلالي للثوابت اللغويّة، وعلى معرفة قيمة التقعيد والتعليل، وأهمية النظرية والتطبيق في الدراسات النحويّة.
