يعتبر موضوع الإلكترونيات وتطبيقاتها من المواضيع المهمة في عصرنا الحديث لما لها من أهمية في جميع الأجهزة الإلكترونية وبمختلف التطبيقات والإلكترونيات قابلة للتطوير والتحديث يومياً لأهميتها في الحياة العملية. حرصنا في هذا الكتاب على شرح وتوضيح الموضوعات الرئيسية التي يحتاجها المختصين والمهتمين بالإلكترونيات وتطبيقاتها....... ونعتقد ان هذا الكتاب سيكون عونا قيماً للكليات الهندسية في تخصص الهندسة الكهربائية والإلكترونية وهندسة الحاسوب إضافة الى المعاهد التقنية الكهربائية الإلكترونية كما سيكون مرجعاً للمهتمين والباحثين في مجال الإلكترونيات حيث انه يحتوي على ما يحتاجه من أساسيات وتطبيقات في هذا المجال. يحتوي الكتاب على اثنا عشر فصلاً في الفصل الأول تم توضيح إلكترونيات أشباه المواصلات والروابط الإلكترونية... وتم توضيح عمل الثنائي(diode) وعمله وتطبيقاته وأنواع الثنائيات ذات التطبيقات الخاصة في الفصل الثاني والثالث والرابع. تم توضيح وبشكل تفصيلي عمل الترانزستور ثنائي الوصلة ((Bipolar Junction Transistor وعمله وخصائصه واستخداماته كمكبر ((Amplifier ومفتاح (Switch ( في الفصل الخامس وتضمن الفصل السادس طرق ودوائر انحياز الترانزستور (Transistor Bais Circuts) لضمان عمل الترانزستور بالشكل المطلوب. وفي الفصل السابع تم شرح وتوضيح مكبرات ثنائية الوصلة (BJT Amplifiers) لكل أنواع ربط الترانزستور وهي مكبر القاعدة المشتركة (Common Base Amplifier ) مكبر الباعث المشترك (Common Emitter Amplifier) ومكبر الجامع المشترك ( Common Collector Amplifier) وكذلك مكبر متعدد المراحل (Multistage Amplifier). أما ترانزستورات تأثير المجال (Field –effect Transistors) فهي موضحة في الفصل الثامن الذي يتضمن خصائص ترانزستور تأثير المجال وبارامتراته وانحيازه والأنواع المختلفة لترانزستور تأثير المجال (MOSFET) وخصائصها كما تم التطرق الى مكبرات ترانزستور تأثير المجال وبكافة أنواعه في الفصل التاسع. أما الفصل العاشر فقد تضمن مكبرات القدرة (Power Amplifiers) وأصنافها وتحليل كل صنف وتطبيقاتها. وفي الفصل الحادي عشر تم شرح وبشكل تفصيلي الاستجابة الترددية للمكبرات ( للترددات الواطئة والعالية ) وهي مكبرات ثنائية الوصلة (BJT Amplifier) ومكبرات ترانزستور تأثير المجال (FET Amplifiers) وكذلك الاستجابة الترددية لمكبر متعدد المراحل..... وتطرقنا في الفصل الثاني عشر الى الترايرستور والداياك والتراياك وتطبيقاتها إضافة الى الترانزستورات الضوئية (photo transistors) وغيرها من الأجهزة التي نحتاجها في عملنا العلمي والعملي.
