ما تناولته في هذا الكتاب لا يتناول العربيّة كلها إنما جزءُ يسير جداً يخص المرحلة الأساسيّة.
وعندما ألحَ نخبة من الطلبة في كليّة العلوم التربوية / وكالة الغوث الدوليّة، حيث قمت بتدريس مادة الإملاء والخط وطرق تدريس اللغة العربيّة؛ أن أكتب محاضراتٍ جرت على لساني بأسلوب يرونَهَ مناسباً، فقمتُ بكتابة هذا المختصر ليفيد الطلبة الذين هم بناةً المستقبل لجيل واعد، وأمام الإصرار من طلابي قدمت الطبعة الأولى حيث اشتملت على بيان المهارة اللغويّة والكتابيّة والصعوبات التي تواجههم وبيان كيفية التغلب عليها.
ولا أدعي أنني أحطت بجميع جوانب الموضوع الذي عالجته، فما زالت هناك جوانب لم أقف عندها، وما زالت هناك جوانب أخرى مما وقفت عندها في حاجة إلى مزيد من البحث والمناقشة، وهناك عديد من المسائل التي تطرح نفسها عاماً بعد عام تدعونا إلى مواجهتها بالتفكير والتجربة، وحسبي أني اجتهد لأقدم لطلابي، نصاً مكتوباً في عرض مبسط ومختصر، يرجعون إليه مع بقية المراجع الأخرى.
وغاية ما أتمنى أن يستفيد الطلبة في معظم الجامعات والكليات من هذا الجهد الذي قام على أساس التكامل العلمي بين المعلم والطالب والمكتبة.
